Founder and director of Ocean 3 a company that was providing corporate event services and team building services through sailing activities. Marco sold the company in 2009 to a Norwegian entrepreneur.
• From 2000 to 2007 Wealth Planner and Financial Advisor in Ras Private. Marco spent 7 years in RAS Private, a division of Rasbank, part of Allianz Group and now called Allianz Bank,
where he was in charge of managing affluent and upper affluent customers of the bank. He was also a tutor for 35 professionals in their wealth planning activities.
• From 1999 to 2000 Founder, director and shareholder of QI Composites srl. Q.I. Composites was established in year 1999 offering the nautical world a new service: non destructive analyses over composite structures. As general manager of the company I was in charge of setting up the company and of developing a new market for this business. Marco sold his part of the company in 2000 to pursue a new career. The company now is world leader in this industry and the customers that Marco contributed to secure are still in the company portfolio (Ferrari spa, Wally Yachts and Gamesa Eolica).
• From 1996 to 1998 Business Development Manager in Equinoxe Yachting, representing 2 of the biggest boatyards in the world, Jeanneau and Beneteau.
Marco spent over a decade as a professional sailor racing with major international teams like SORC (Suisse Ocean Racing Club), Endeavour Yachting (Grant Dalton) and Merit Cup.
Among his achievement the Transatlantic record onboard of the Maxi Ketch Merit Cup set in 1995 from Gran Canaria to Barbados, still unbeaten. He won several Italian and European Championships and he has been on the podium of all the major sailing competitions in the Mediterranean Sea.
